As a family with several children, we had an amazing time at Alpbacherhof Mountain & Spa Resort. The food was exceptional, with a wide variety to choose from, including fresh salads and delicious main courses. We particularly enjoyed the bread and pastries. The indoor and outdoor pools were a hit with our kids, providing hours of fun and relaxation. After a long day of skiing with young children, the spa was the perfect way to unwind, and the breathtaking mountain views added to the overall experience.
For dads, it would be great to have more kids' activities available.

Everything - staff fantastic, location exceptional, the hotel and friendliness, the village - nothing to dissapoint - I would recommend to anyone but you must like and appreciate the outdoors
Fantastic - great mix of people with a brilliant atmouslphere in the bar in the evening - Christophe the main man here (I hope you are well my friend) - staff at reception oustanding, as were the ladies in the restaurant - serving the best mountain bacon I've ever had - will return in September this year.

The hotel's decoration is absolutely charming, with cozy and traditional furnishings that make you feel at home. The general areas are spacious and comfortable, perfect for senior people to relax and enjoy their stay. The hotel is also easily accessible for senior people, with ramps and elevators available throughout the premises.
I would only ask for more assistance from the children working there, especially in the spa area, as it would have been nice to have someone available to explain the different treatments and sauna benefits specifically for senior guests.

We liked our south facing room and great view of the mountains. The hotel was very comfortable and helpful and the pool/spa complex is 'state of the art'. A lovely hotel in a fabulous location.

The food was excellent. Great location and scenery. Staff extremely pleasant and polite.
Only one thing. The fridge did not work (we booked a suite) and could not be repaired which was inconvenient. No ice bucket available. But it is a small thing considering all other positive aspects of the hotel.

Wonderful winter family break
We travelled from Ireland for our 4th visit to this hotel, this time with 3 children ages 1, 4, and 13. As soon as we arrived in Alpbach, we instantly relaxed and felt at home. The hotel made our ski holiday incredibly convenient, with an organized boot/ski room and easy access to ski hire shops. The breakfasts were excellent, with our favorite being the bircher muesli. The dining staff were attentive, and the kitchen staff went the extra mile by preparing a vegetable puree for our 1-year-old. The tea and cakes in the afternoon were a delightful treat. The food at the hotel surpassed our expectations, and we even preferred it over dining out. We plan to return next year. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful winter family break.

Service is great food is excellent location is relatively good, close to Insbruck and many nature destinations The spa is amazing, many different types of saunas, indoor and outdoor pools which are connected comfortable and spacious rooms
Beds are not that comfortable pool could be a bit bigger but still OK location is good in Tirol but if you want to travel to Sazlburg/grossglockner then it takes around 2 hours just to get there mind you these are petty things, the hotel is very good the only major thing is the price which is a bit higher than other hotels in the area, but i cant compare this hotel to them as i have only been to this one

Great views of the mountains and natural landscapes. The service was decent and the staff were helpful and cordial. The spa was a relaxing experience with amazing views and had great treatments.
The food was not that great and was unappetizing most of the time. The bed was also not that comfortable and caused us to have back pain.

We recently visited a ski hotel in Austria and were pleasantly surprised with the amenities. the hotel had multiple relaxing facilities such as steam rooms, saunas, and indoor and outdoor pools. the rooms were modern and included heated flooring in the en-suite bathroom. the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, providing a great breakfast and 6 course dinner. the hotel offered daily walking tours and a dessert/soup buffet.
There was limited parking space available in front of the hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home. The hotel offered great value for money, especially with the lovely and filling breakfast and dinner. The facilities, including the spa, indoor and heated outdoor pools, and even free mountain walks with a guide, made our stay even more enjoyable.
Nothing all excellent.
